Christmas craft fair at Arts Centre

THE annual Christmas Craft Fair in association with the Wexford Craft Trail will be officially opened in Wexford Arts Centre this Saturday (December 8) at 2 p.m. The guest speaker will be Maura Bell, general manager at the Irish National Heritage Park and entertainment will be provided by Quay Note Choir.

Crafts from studios throughout the county will be featured including Terry the Weaver, Patricia Howard of the Potter’s Yard, Ceadogán Rugs, Martin Doyle Goldsmith, Ballyelland Pottery, Bianco Divito glass artist, John Dunn’s Automatas, the Blue Egg Gallery and Tommy Kelly of the Bevel Woodworking School.

The fair will take place in the Pillar Room of the Arts Centre and will run until December 23, opening Monday to Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday 16 and 23 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The official opening is a free event and is open to all.
