Christ­mas craft fair at Arts Cen­tre

THE an­nual Christ­mas Craft Fair in as­so­ci­a­tion with the Wex­ford Craft Trail will be of­fi­cially opened in Wex­ford Arts Cen­tre this Satur­day (De­cem­ber 8) at 2 p.m. The guest speaker will be Maura Bell, gen­eral man­ager at the Ir­ish Na­tional Her­itage Park and en­ter­tain­ment will be pro­vided by Quay Note Choir.

Crafts from stu­dios through­out the county will be fea­tured in­clud­ing Terry the Weaver, Pa­tri­cia Howard of the Pot­ter’s Yard, Ceadogán Rugs, Martin Doyle Gold­smith, Bal­lyel­land Pot­tery, Bianco Div­ito glass artist, John Dunn’s Au­tomatas, the Blue Egg Gallery and Tommy Kelly of the Bevel Wood­work­ing School.

The fair will take place in the Pil­lar Room of the Arts Cen­tre and will run un­til De­cem­ber 23, open­ing Mon­day to Fri­day from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Satur­day from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sun­day 16 and 23 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The of­fi­cial open­ing is a free event and is open to all.
