26th Iceland opens in Wexford
WEXFORD’S NEWEST retailer, Iceland, is holding its grand opening today (Tuesday) at its premises in Redmond Square from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
The store will be the 26th Iceland opened in Ireland, and the second to open in Wexford; the first, which employs about 30 people, opened in Gorey last year. The Wexford store will span over 7,890 square feet and employ 25 people.
Iceland sells an extensive range of frozen foods as well as fresh produce and chilled goods.
The grand opening will be a celebration of the new store. There will be spot prizes, festive give-aways, food tastings and more.
