Appeal for food donations

The Wexford People Helping People group is calling for non-perishable food donations for food hampers which will be distributed to people in need in the area and across County Wexford in the run-up to Christmas. The drop off location is Tesco car park, Wexford town (next to the recycling bins) on Tuesday and Friday nights from 7 p.m. to 9.30 p.m. Donations of rice, pasta, canned foods, canned soups, cereals, biscuits, crisps and other long shelf life items are ideal. The group is hosting a community dinner on Christmas Day in Wexford town, which is free for all to attend. Contact 087 253 5005 for more information.
