A magical shopping experience in Wexford

-

SHOPS and services in Wexford are on red alert... for Christmas!

And the town never looked more festive, with colourful new Christmas lights adorning the busy streets.

Wexford’s Christmas season got off to an explosive start with a fireworks display as well as the big switch-on and the arrival of Santa.

Thousands turned out, proving that if you want to experience the festive season in all its glory, you just can’t beat being there.

It’s the same with Christmas shopping.

There’s no substitute for visiting local shops and service providers where gift ideas abound and shoppers get that important personal touch. What’s more, you return home gifts in hand, not stressing over delivery charges and delays.

Of course, there’s another very good reason to shop local in Wexford: much of what’s spent locally stays local, so you will be giving the gift of Christmas to the local economy and helping secure and grow local jobs.

Shoppers can combine their gift hunting with some festive fun this Christmas season as the Wexford Winterland festival is already in full swing.

It includes such attractions as the Christmas Express train, running through the streets of the town every day; the popular Wexford People Wexford On Ice rink on the Quayfront; and Santa’s North Pole Experience where children can wander around the Enchanted Forest and see the Elves Village and Workshop before visiting Santa Claus.

Get your skates on for a magical shopping experience in Wexford this year – you won’t be disappointed!
