Maria Levinge work in Kamera 8
AN exhibition of work by the artist Maria Levinge will be held in the KAMERA 8 gallery in Lower Rowe Street, Wexford in the lead-up to Christmas.
The exhibition will be officially opened at 6 p.m. on St. Nicholas Day, December 6 by Oliver Comerford, artist and Course Director in Art at the Wexford Campus of IT Carlow.
The works will be on public view until December 23 and everyone is invited to go along.
The gallery will open on Sundays for the exhibition from 2 p.m. until 5.30 p.m. The normal gallery hours are Wednesday and Friday from 12 p.m. to 4.30 p.m. and Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday from 12 p.m. to 4.30 p.m.
This is the last exhibition of the year for Kamera 8 and a good note to end on as the works are outstanding and unique. Photographic work by Clid Nego and Michael Snoek who are involved in the running of the gallery, will also be available.
