VILLAGE CHRISTMAS

KRH Tops/Community Group will hold its annual Village Christmas on Thursday, December 20, at 6.30 p.m. in St Patrick’s Church, Rosslare Harbour. Christmas Carols and music performed by our talented group and invited guests, and a Ceremony of LIght with the Rosslare Harbour Lifeboat Crew to remember those lost at sea will also take place. A beautiful celebratio­n of Christmas in your own community.

Afterwards there will be tea or coffee and homebaking served in Railway Social Club, combined with our Monster Christmas Raffle. Santa will arrive in style to his Grotto, with a gift for every child. Mrs Claus and Olaf will be there for face painting and musical fun and games.

Admission Children €35 and Adults Free. This is a festive evening not to be missed. A chance for everyone in our little community to come out and enjoy a festive evening, join in the singing, enjoy the music, see the children smile, meet your neighbour for a cuppa and remember those who have spent their Christmas in Rosslare Harbour over the generation­s.

There is no place like home so come on down to Kilrane-Rosslare Harbour for a real old fashioned Christmas. KRH Tops putting the community back into Christmas.

ST PAUL’S AC

The third and final night of the winter league took place last Friday Night at the track in Enniscorth­y.

We were will represente­d each night and 12 of our athletes taking part in all three nights – Ronan Looney, Tadhg Wright, Caolán Kelly, Catherine O’Leary, Caoimhe Ryan, Artem Kelly, Elijah Page Redmond, Peter Stefanov, Tosia Brezezimsk, Hannah Kelly, Sophie Whitehead and Ciara Martin. Lucas Page Redmond took part in the third night and Lucy Stafford competed on the first night.

Some of our senior athletes took to the streets of Waterford last Saturday competitin­g in the Waterford Half Marathon, ShammyO’ Brien, Phil Murphy, Johnny Kelly, Yvonne Cloney and Martha congratula­tions and well done to all.

Training continues Mondays and Wednesdays in Rosslare Strand at the usual times, new members welcome.

SYMPATHY

We offer our sincere sympathy to Aisling Tubritt and family, Portside, Rosslare Harbour on the sad passing of her mother Maura Domican, Kilcullen, Co Kildare.

Maura was laid to rest on Monday November 19, after funeral Mass in the Church of the Sacred Heart and St Brigid, Kilcullen.
