Piercestown house is ransacked

GARDAI are investiging a break-in in Piercestown in which a house was ransacked.

The incident occurred sometime overnight between Saturday and Sunday, January 5 and 6.

A spokesperson for the force said entry was gained to the house through the front door and the property was ransacked.
