Wexford Has Talent auditions Sunday
THE auditions for this year’s Wexford Has Talent competition take place this coming weekend – on Sunday, January 13, from 12 noon to 6 p.m.
Anyone interested in auditioning who hasn’t already registered is advised to go online and book an audition slot through www.wexfordhastalent.com or through the event’s Facebook page.
Free audition spaces can be booked in advance, however, there will be a facility to accommodate people who turn up on the day as well.
An additional component this year is a facility for people to submit a video audition through the website.
This is the fifth year of the competition which to-date has seen 650 people auditioning in addition to 192 live performances.
Following the January 13 auditions between 24 and 30 acts will be selected to go through to two semi-finals in which they will perform before a live audience in Clayton White’s Hotel.
The grand final will take place on Saturday, March 9.
Anyone with a special talent can enter the competition which has helped the careers of many talented people in Wexford including last year’s winner Rachel Grace who is one of the country’s most promising new singer songwriters.
