Meet the first of our leaders...

Dream 10 in 2014 and has supported this hugely popular event since, by sponsoring €10,000 for the colourful T-shirts each year and we consider it a privilege that we support it again in 2019 on behalf of all our members who stretch from Mount Leinster all the way down to the sea in Rosslare.

Speaking about the partnership, Liam Waters, Acting Manager of Enniscorthy Credit Union said ‘Hope and Dream 10 is an event close to everyone’s heart in the Wexford area and its popularity is growing year on year. It is a very highly regarded local event which we know our members are happy to support. We very much look forward to working with the team at Hope and Dream 10 over the coming months on this exciting event.’.

For Enniscorthy Credit Union we see the community needs as part of our needs and we hope that with our support the Hope and Dream 10 can continue to be a major part of the fundraising for the local charities that it supports. We are all aware of the fabulous work being done by the Hope Cancer Support Centre here in Enniscorthy and also acknowledge the unstinting work of the Wexford Hospice Homecare committee both of which are beneficial to our community county-wide.

Our slogan here in Enniscorthy Credit Union is ‘Together we’re Stronger’ and Hope and Dream 10 is proof that as a community we are stronger when w.e come together. Hi, I’m Liam, I’m 37 and I’m from Enniscorthy. My partner is Breda and we have two boys, aged 9 and 18 months.

I’m a mechanic in Wexford Volkswagen. My favourite sport is soccer but my playing days are long behind me and I am a big Chelsea supporter.

I first did the Hope and Dream in 2015 and since then I have been hooked by this amazing event.

The atmosphere and the support everyone gives you on the day is second to none and all in aid of two amazing charities.

I am delighted to be one of the leaders this year and I will give it my all. Don’t forget to register and remember: If we do nothing, nothing will happen! My name is Denise Farrell, I am 38 years of age. I am from Oylegate and I have a 13-yearold son.

I decided to apply to be a leader as it is a great opportunity to be part of this charitable event and it’s for a great organisation.

Also because it’s a once in a life time opportunity to make a personal transformation within my own life. To have wrap around support in all different areas, one to one training, free gym in Nolan fitness, physiotherapy and help with food and nutrition. Such a great oppertunity. I can’t wait to start.
