CHRISTMAS BAZAAR

The Christmas Bazzaar held in mid December in aid of Glynn Hall raised the grand total of €920. Thank you to everybody for you support, thank you for all your donations and of course thank you to anyone who helped in any way to make our day the success it was.

CAMOGIE

Well done to Presentati­on Wexford, who beat Mercy New Ross recently in their second play off game in Ferns COE on a score line of 3-9 To 3-7. They now take on Loreto Kilkenny next week in the Leinster A semi-final.

SENIOR GAA

COUNTYWIDE DRAW – The club is now selling the countywide draw tickets in the Glynn-Barntown area. We would appreciate everybody’s support in the final leg of our very successful fundraiser.

CLUB LOTTO – Numbers drawn on Wednesday, January 9: 7, 11, 14, 23. There was no jackpot winner. Seven matchthree winners – Eoin Crosbie, Dan Redmond, Anthony Whelan, Alan Cowman, Clem and Brideen Doyle, James White and Clíona Connolly. Our next draw is on January 23 in Declan’s. Thanks to all for your continued support. Jackpot now stands at €6,600.

LADIES GFC

Glynn-Barntown Ladies’ Gaelic Football Club presents a Musical Evening in Barntown Church on Friday, January 25, at 8 p.m. Featuring local talent and special guest artists with MC George Lawlor it promises to be a great night.
