COMMUNITY LOTTO

There was no winner of last week’s jackpot of €17,200. The winning numbers were 3, 20, 24 and 33. There were three match three winners who received €70 each. The winners were Pat Redmond, Paul Rea and Nick Popplewell. The next lotto draw will be held on Tuesday 15th January and the Jackpot now stands at €17,400.

ST ANNE’S ATHLETIC CLUB

It was with great sadness we learnt of the sudden death of Scott Doran. A former member of St. Annes Juvenile Athletic Club during the mid eighties. In 1984, Scott led them to the clubs first Cross-Country County Championship title team event, winning the Johnny Murphy cup. He went on to represent Wexford and Leinster in the National Championships of that year. He was a versatile track and field athlete also winning many County, Leinster and National titles.

The Club would like to express their deepest sympathies with the Doran family on their sad loss. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam.
