Donations are always welcome; any out of hours contributi­ons can be handed into the community centre.

TIDY TOWNS

Happy, Healthy and Litter Free New Year from Rosslare Tidy Towns. Please dispose of all your Christmas waste in a responsibl­e manner by making use of the Recycling Centres. Also Please help us in keeping the village clear of Litter by picking the area outside your Home/Business. In early February we will have the first Formal Beach Clean of the Year, date and times will be published later.

Tidy Towns is part of a Nationwide group of volunteers, who enjoy keeping their Villages and Towns looking their best. We welcome New Members; Please feel free to join. Contact Margaret at 086 1257487.

WEDNESDAY – 11 a.m. to midday Computer Skills for Beginners of all ages; 4.30 p.m. to 5.30 p.m. Intermedia­te Guitar (kids); 5.30 p.m. to 6.30 p.m. Intermedia­te Guitar (adults).

St Mary’s Rosslare wish all our community a Happy New Year. We look forward to another busy and successful year. We are looking for people to help in any way possible and are looking for a PRO to manage Twitter, Facebook, Web page and various news outlets. If interested please ring Conor Roche at 087 2027202.

Our lotto now stands at an amazing €20,000. Buy a ticket – it might be the one to get 2019 off to a great start. On Tuesday, January 8, numbers were 1, 15, 16 and 23; there was two matchthree winners Ruth McNamara and Mag McDonald. Tickets can be bought throughout community and from any committee member.

We have entered our first Jim Byrne Football Cup under-17 team in over a decade. They will play Bannow in Tagoat at 11 a.m. Sunday the 13th. Please come along and support the team; they have a match every Sunday for the whole of January. Best of luck to Larry and the lads.
