The number of Wexford businesses in contention at the 2019 Georgina Campbell Irish Breakfast Awards. Shortlisted Marlfield House in Gorey, Aldridge Lodge in Duncannon and the visitor centre café at Hook Lighthouse could bring home the bacon for the Model County at the awards, run in association with Fáilte Ireland. The awards will be presented at the Inter Continental Hotel in Dublin next Tuesday (February 19) where up to 200 representatives from the hospitality industry, food writers and food organisations will be joined by special guest, chef Neven Maguire.
