Equitouch

Equitouch was established in 2013 by Philippe on his home farm in Bolgerstown, county Wexford, since then he has worked with his mother Ann, their colleague Jessica and a team of horses to provide therapy for people through horses. Working through the Eagala model brings together a team of Qualified mental health professional and Equine specialist, ensuring emotional and physical wellbeing at all times. This form of psychotherapy has proven very successful especially when a client is very traumatised or unable to move forward with treatment. We provide individual sessions for mental health and wellbeing and create customised treatment plans for specific issues. We also provide tailored group programmes for wellbeing, goal oriented training, life skills etc. Last year we started mindfulness workshops working with the horses. These were very successful and popular. We plan to run free demonstrations and further workshops commencing in the spring.
