Shoplifter on probation

A 24-year-old unemployed woman with no fixed address was put on probation for six months after pleading guilty to shoplifting.

Nicole Dwyer, resident of B&B accommodation for the homeless, stole €24.50 worth of cosmetics from Dealz in Wexford. She was arrested shortly afterwards in Penneys and the goods were recovered. A list of previous convictions read out in court included one for assault of a police officer, handed down at a court in Coventry, England.
