€100 fine for Christmas Day public order offence

THE Christmas time misbehavio­ur of Richard Codd (40) from 116 Belvedere Grove, Wexford was detailed at the District Court.

The accused man pleaded guilty to a public order offence committed in the early hours of December 25.

Judge John Cheatle heard how Codd was clearly intoxicate­d when gardaí arrived at Belvedere Grove. They asked him to go to his home around the corner but he failed to comply.

In court he offered an apology for what happened before a fine of €100 was imposed.
