UPCOMING EVENTS IN GRANTSTOWN COMMUNITY VILLAGE – Tuesday the 19th: Tap2Heal with Vero/Cards in the morning and Pongo in the afternoon. Wednesday the 20th: Talk by Wexford Fire Service on Fire Safety in the Home at 11 a.m. and music with Gerry and Laurence in the afternoon. Bingo at 8 p.m. Thursday the 21st: Mass with Fr Pender in the morning and Pongo in the afternoon.

OUR DOORS ARE ALWAYS OPEN – Do you keep saying you are going to get out a bit more? Why not come along and join us for a day out to meet people and enjoy our range of activities. If you live in our catchment area we can arrange transport, you can also avail of a wide range of services we provide once you get here. We have an on-site Nurse and transport for medical appointmen­ts if you are feeling a bit under the weather. You can book an appointmen­t with the Chiropodis­t, the Counsellor or the Physiother­apist. Feeling a bit stressed? Then why not try our Reiki, Imaginatio­n Gym or Sonas treatments with our fully trained staff.

COMPUTER COURSE

Computer course starting at Grantstown on Wednesday, February 27, 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. for five weeks. Contact reception at 051 561016 to book your place on this course. If these dates don’t suit you, don’t worry. We will be running this course again so please contact us to book your place on a future course.

QUIZ NIGHT

There is a Quiz Night in aid of Cystic Fibrosis in Roches Bar Duncannon on Saturday, February 23, at 9 p.m. A table of four is only €20. Raffle prizes on the night.

BALLYMITTY HALL EVENTS

Big Breakfast Morning – The next Sunday Cafe will take place on Sunday, February 24, from 9.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. in Ballymitty Hall. We will be serving a tasty Full Irish Breakfast on the morning.

Monster Drive-In Bingo: This is on Sunday, February 24, at 3 p.m. in Ballymitty Hall. €1,500 in prizes including Special page; €50 one line, €100 for two lines and €150 full house. Raffle and lots of prizes. Tea and cakes served.

GAA CLUB NEWS

Lotto this Tuesday evening with a jackpot of €10,700 to be won. Tickets are two euro each and can be purchased from Doyle’s Carrig, Seabreeze drycleaner­s, Tír na nÓg, Staffords Tullycanna and from any Club Officer down in the complex.

Regristar/Membership evenings take place over in the complex starting this Tuesday the 19th, Thursday the 21st, Monday and Wednesday, February 25, and 27, from 6.30 – 8.30. SOCIAL DANCING

dancing continues every Thursday night in Tír na nÓg with music this Thursday, February 21, Delta Dawn and 28th Bandit. All proceeds in aid of handball clubs new build, all welcome and refreshmen­ts will be served.
