MOTORING offences attracted fines on conviction at the District Court sitting in Wexford, Judge Brian O’Shea presiding:

Teodoro Quiros Valadez (54), 53 South Main Street, Wexford, was caught holding a mobile phone while driving at Ashfield in Killinick on October 14. He was fined €120.

Jamie Davies, 13 Upper John Street, Wexford, was summonsed after his vehicle was seen parked in a slot reserved for holders of disability permits, fine €200.

Andrew Connors (21), 128 Clonard Village, Wexford, had no valid tax disc on the white Transit van he was driving at Newtown Road on the morning of October 24, fine €120.

Thomas Berry, 23 Brendan Corish Gardens, Wexford, was convicted for not wearing his safety belt while a front seat passenger in the same van on the same occasion at Newtown Road, fine €120.
