Van had no insurance

PROBLEMS with the 161 registered Ford Transit he was driving at Tomsilla in Gorey led to a convictions and fine for Stuart Ryan (32), The Starlings, Colestown, Barntown.

He was intercepted on August 13 last by a garda who noted that Ryan had no valid insurance disc exhibited and that he had a bald tyre on the van.

The insurance summons drew a fine of €150 at Wexford District Court, with the bald tyre marked ‘taken into consideration’ by Judge Brian O’Shea.
