Key stats from the Reviving Wexford report

n 217 businesses took part in the survey, across nine different sectors, detailing how the Covid-19 crisis has impacted them.

n 54% of businesses surveyed said they had to cut jobs due to the pandemic.

n Cash flow (73%), consumer demand (55%) and social distancing (24%) were the top three challenges facing business.

n 74% stated there was a requirement for commercial rates to be suspended for 2020.

n 36% of business are calling for a reduction in insurance premiums, with 25% wanting insurance premium rebates to be provided.

n 14% of business surveyed are calling for all taxes to be lowered.

n 20% want a holiday on loan repayments and 14% want the removal of banking fees.
