7 SUMMITS, 7 DAYS CHALLENGE.

Glynn-Barntown Adult camogie ladies would like to thank everyone who supported them as they raised funds recently for the Hope Cancer Support Centre in Enniscorth­y. The players each ran over 43km over seven days – the equivalent of the combined heights of the seven highest mountains in the world. The ladies raise a fantastic €7,340.

CONDOLENCE­S

Glynn-Barntown GAA Club extends it’s deepest condolence­s to the Eddie Mahon and family at the recent passing of his mother, Angela Mahon, Meath. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a hanam dílis.

Deepest sympathy is also extended to the Dempsey families in Barntown on the recent passing of their Mom Eithne. May she rest in peace.

Condolence­s are extended to the Delaney family in Coolcotts on the sudden passing of Lily’s brother, John Kehoe, Rathmackne­e. May he rest in peace.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you all at this sad time.

EXAMS

Here’s a shout out to our secondary school students who are currently completing their end of year school exams – online. Good luck you guys. And not forgetting our national school pupils who are still facing the challenges of ‘school in the kitchen’ keep up the great work – everybody is a genius.
