Local family businesses need your help this January

-

BUSINESSES across Co Wexford have changed the way they do business over the past few weeks.

Many have invested in new websites. Many more have turned to social media, developing their pages and posting offers.

Businesses and staff are working away behind the scenes, doing their utmost, going the extra mile to ensure you can get that item you want.

During this third lockdown business owners are exercising great caution to get your product to you.

By simply logging onto their website or Facebook page, checking out Instagram and other social media platforms, or by a simple phone call, you can order that item and have it delivered to your home in a quick and cost-effective way.

Throughout 2020 people have become used to a new way of shopping. Courier company staff have been flat out calling to homes.

More locally businesses have stepped up their online presence and are now delivering to homes like yours across County Wexford. From food, to clothing, shoes, to your weekly shop, there are numerous ways you can stay safe while being able to get what you need.

Sadly, County Wexford’s Covid-19 case-load remains very high. Although town centres are very quiet, the business of life continues. People need clothes, treats, whatever it takes to get through the long days of January.

A lot of people are splurging and are not too concerned about holding back. They also want to support local businesses which employ thousands of people across Co Wexford.

Aware now, as they look at how quiet the town centre is, what businesses, family businesses, mean to their hometown, they want to give back.

Vouchers given as Christmas gifts are burning a hole in their pockets.

This January there is no better time to upgrade your home and get stuck into a project. Think and shop local to save local.
