ST FINTAN’S LADIES AGM

St Fintan’s ladies’ Gaelic football club will hold their AGM on Friday, January 22, online at 7 p.m. via Zoom, anyone who wishes to take part contact club secretary Niamh Devereux at 087 1528883 for the Zoom code.

For the coming year we require coaches for our under-10 and adult teams. If you can help in any way with the running of our club, please get in touch all volunteers very welcome.

GET WELL WISHES

Special get well wishes are sent to all parishione­rs that are unwell at this time, you are wished a speedy recovery to full fitness and good health. Stay safe.

WALKING TRACK

The walking track on the grounds of the St Fintan’s GAA Club is currently open free of charge to all and all we ask is that you adhere to all the covid guidelines. Due to health and safety guidelines, dogs are not allowed (except guide dogs). A healthy way to exercise so please stay safe.

BEREAVEMEN­TS

We extend our condolence­s to Pam Rowe and family Ballymore on the sad passing of her brother Michael Jordan Ballyorley House, Boolavogue, whose remains were laid to rest following his funeral Mass in Boolavogue.

Our condolence­s are also extended to Fintan Murphy, Máire Fortune, Breda Sinnott and

their families on the sad passing of their sister Dolores (Dolo) Fitzhenry, who sadly died in Abbeygale Nursing home and her remains were laid to rest in Murrintown cemetery following her funeral Mass in Murrintown.

May they both rest in peace.

A LITTLE TIP

If for any reason you should have the misfortune to be admitted to hospital or any rest home, it is important that you bring your mobile phone and charger as you won’t be allowed visitors at this time and it would be the only means of contact with family and friends. Without this device you are totally cut off from those outside.

In light of the increased Covid 19 restrictio­ns and in the interest of everybody’s safety we regretfull­y have to cancel our splitthe-pot draw till February. Many thanks to our supporters and stay well.

BINGO

The St Fintan’s GAA Club wishes to inform its loyal supporters that its Sunday afternoon drive in bingo session is cancelled for the foreseeabl­e future due to the current pandemic. We will notify you all when we are safe to resume. Stay safe.

LOTTO

The St Fintan’s lotto in associatio­n with Rathangan hall committee remains cancelled due to the covid 19 pandemic and will

remain so till it is safe to resume. Apologies for any inconvenie­nce caused and we will give plenty of notice of the planned date of its resumption.
