CONDOLENCES

We extend our condolences to the Shortle and O’Connor families, Kyle, Crossabeg, and Castlebridge, on the death of John (Seán) Shortle, Kennedy Park, Wexford, who died on Tuesday, January 12, Sincere sympathy also to his wife and daughters and extended family members. His funeral took place on Thursday, January 14.

Sincere sympathy also to the extended Sinnott family, Garrywilliam, Crossabeg, on the death of Agnes Kennedy (née Somers), Killeshin, Co. Carlow and formerly of Ballymore House, Screen, whose funeral took place on Saturday last.

Our condolences also to the family of the late James Barnes, Hillbrook, Gorey (formerly Crossabeg) who died on Thursday, January 14, especially to his daughters, brothers, sisters, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, relatives and friends. James came to live with his granny Maggie Quinn and her family in Crossabeg as a very young child and later attended Crossabeg National School. The family moved to Wexford town and it was here that he met his late wife Colette and they moved to Gorey where they reared their family. A family funeral Mass took place on Sunday, January 17, in Carnew church with burial afterwards to Coolafancy cemetery.

We also extend our condolences to Paul Fortune and extended family and the Murphy family, Mountanna, on the death of his sister, Anna Rath, Kilcotty, Enniscorthy, who died on Wednesday, January 13, Pre-deceased by her husband Pat, she is survived by her sons and daughter, relatives and friends. A private Funeral Mass took place on Saturday last.

May all their souls rest in peace.
