DAFFODIL DAY

A big shout out to everyone who bought our items and donated money. Thanks to the good ladies of the Taghmon ICA and friends who took an hour out of their day to man our collection boxes. We are extremely grateful. We won’t give up till cancer does.

CAMROSS ICA

The March meeting was held on Monday, 4th March, with our Guild President, Mary Nolan presiding. Mary thanked guild members who represented the guild at the recent Camross Hall Committee Table Quiz.

Dympna Kelly reminded all of the Garden Demo in Beechdale on 3rd April, at 6 o’clock. Should be very interesting.

Activities such as chair yoga, line dancing and art classes were discussed, and will be finalised soon. Planning is everything, so that all have a choice.

Our guest speaker was Claire Kavanagh, who had a wonderful display of her Chalk Art for us, as well as a demonstration of her craft which gave us a chance to try things for ourselves. I think we have a new activity for our list.

Many thanks to Claire for coming to visit us and opening up a new craft to us. A lovely tea was then served by Ann Howlin and Mary Nolan won the raffle.

Our next guild meeting will be held on Tuesday evening, 2nd April. Please note this change from usual Monday night.

Go neirigh an mbothar libh go leir.
