Normal classes resume with Mary this Friday 12th April and every Friday thereafter. Venue: Barntown Community Centre (multipurpose room). €10 per class. Please contact Mary on 086 214 7854. Classes are open to all.
No special equipment is required as class is performed standing. Wear comfortable clothes and shoes and bring anything you need to be comfortable (water, clothing layers etc).
ROUNDERS
Are you interested in joining Rounders this year? Why not come along to one of our training sessions to try it out?
Everyone is welcome and we really do have a lot of fun. We have an adult ladies team, a mens team and a mixed team.
We train on Sundays so if you want to come along, please message the Glynn/Barntown Rounders Facebook page for more information.
We currently delighted to welcome a bunch of newcomers and we are so excited to meet more, so if you want to get active with a smile, give us a shout and you’ll be sorted for the season ahead.
SQUASH CLUB SPLIT THE POT
Congratulations to Liz Curran who was the lucky winner of €230 on Sunday 7th April.
The draw took place in Maxol Service Station, Killeens and the winner was picked by Darragh Murphy. Liz bought her ticket at the Cafolla Takeaway. Mag Kinsella our Easter Sunday winner had an extra €240 in her pocket and also bought her envelope at the Cafolla Chipper. Thanks for your support ladies.

SUNDAY SERVICE
Thanks so much to Aidan and Tiernan (Roche) for their music and singing on Sunday morning 07th April and to Fr. Paddy for the service. On Easter Sunday morning we were so lucky to have Anne and the Children’s Choir and also John Rossiter filling the Church with wonderful songs and music. Many thanks to Paul and all involved in bringing this service live to our homes each week.

DANCE CAMP
Another extremely successful Dance Camp took place over the Easter Holidays in Barntown Community Centre. Saoirse’s Dance & Fitness Academy would like to thank all the youngsters who attended and made it so great.
A special thank you goes out to all the helpers at Barntown Community Centre for everything they do. It’s such a pleasure to walk into a lovely fresh Community Centre and to be greeted by smiles from all the helpers there. Thanks so much.

Barntown Community Centre has an opportunity which might be right for you which includes Social Media Admin, Marketing and Content Creator, all which can be managed in your own time.
This opportunity would be ideal for a young marketing, digital media or design student or someone considering studies in this field to either build on experience or enhance learning capabilities and give back to the community.

Skittles season is starting again. Practice sessions in Mary Jo’s car park on Tuesday and Thursday evenings at 7pm. Why not come along and try it out, even for just the fun of it.
