The group rounded out what has been a most memorable year on the full-length drama circuit with another great second place finish for our ‘Out of Order’ team at Wexford Drama Festival.

Attention now turns to our preparatio­ns for the All-Ireland Finals in Athlone in early May, the draw to decide which night we will perform on will be conducted in Athlone on Sunday April 14th.

We are also delighted to announce that our performanc­e in the O’Reilly Theatre at The National Opera House is now completely sold out.

KRH TOP COMMUNITY GROUP

The Group are looking forward to hosting their annual concert on Wednesday 8th May in St Patrick’s Church, Rosslare Harbour. They will present a varied programme with lots of special guests and some surprises. All proceeds will go to the funds for our Community Resource Centre. Watch this space for further details.

ST MARY’S GAA

Winning numbers for Tuesday 2nd April were 2, 10, 17 and 22. No Jackpot Winner. Congratula­tions to our 4 Match 3 Winners Lisa Philips, Jacinta Fitzharris, Kellyanne McMahon and Bernard Boyce. The next draw will take place on Tuesday 9th April with a Jackpot of €7,350.

WOMEN’S SHED

Exciting News – A Women’s Shed is starting in Rosslare Harbour. Join us at The Kilrane Community Centre on Wednesday 10th April at 7pm. All women over 18 welcome. We look forward to meeting you.

COMMUNITY CENTRE KILRANE AGM

Come along and be part of the community. This is a unique opportunit­y to be involved in your local area. It is a chance to help develop the community centre in Kilrane and to benefit the future of our whole community. The AGM will take place on Monday 15th April at 7.30 in the Community Centre.

ENVIRONMEN­TAL GROUP NEWS

Following the recent very successful National Spring Cleaning Day, the Group wishes to thank all the volunteers for giving of their time, with a very special thank you to the numerous members of the Ukrainian Community that came out to help us, your assistance was much appreciate­d.

We would also like to thank Bord na Mona for providing the skip for the day, the ICA for preparing and providing the refreshmen­ts afterwards in the Community Centre, Kilrane, Pat M. for providing the transport to picking up the bulkier items of waste, An Taisce, Wexford County Council (Environmen­t Section), Vera and Sharon for organising the event.

The group turns out every Saturday morning at 9.30 and every Wednesday at 7pm (May to September inclusive). Meeting point is the Memorial Park unless prearrange­d. All volunteers are welcome.

Reminder: A WEEE (Waste Electric and Electronic Equipment) cage only for small Household electrical goods and a container for the recycling of fluorescen­t tubes is situated at the back of the Railway Social Club. It is open on Saturday Mornings between 10.00 and 11.30am, weather permitting.
