The Get into Golf committee held a rules night on Friday. There was a large group in attendance, keen to hear Michael O’Connor of Golf Ireland, who explained the rules of golf covering from tee to green and all the places in between.

He recommende­d that everyone download the R&A Rules App. Our thanks to him for a really interestin­g presentati­on, and the fun explanatio­ns he gave with the help of props.

The weekend weather was glorious. It was great to see golfers without wetgear and umbrellas. We look forward to more of the same.
