1 JIMMY CARR LAUGHS FUNNY: The world-famous co median, that is Jimmy Carr, is coming to the National Opera House on Saturday May 25. Jimmy is a British-Irish co median whose edgy one liners are known to raise some eyebrows and to offend some people. His shows are not for the faint of heart, only 16- year- olds and above are eligible to attend. Jimmy warns audiences that his humour is very much dark, so if dark humour isn’ t your cup of tea, do not attend. Jimmy has had a huge ly successful career, hosting game shows in Britain, appearing on many television shows, performing for festival sand touring all over America with his incredible stand-up routines .‘ Jimmy Carr: Laughs Funny’ will be 90 minutes of non-stop, great jokes. There will be no interval. There will be two shows in the one night, one at 7 p.m. and the other at 9.30 p.m. This show is sure to be amazing and definitely not to be missed by anyone who wants to have a good laugh. 2 COUNTY WEXFORD SCHOOL OF MUSIC SUMMER CONCERT: The National Opera House are thrilled to be hosting the County Wexford School of Music Summer Concert on Saturday, May 25. This is set to be a fantastic night of music for all music lovers. The CWSC will be performing with vocal ensembles, piano duets, guitar quartets, Music Makers and many more. The CWSC encourages students to pursue their personal best and gain excellent life skills through music education. There will be two performanc­es on the night, one at 5 p.m., the other at 7.30 p.m. Wexford’s own Rachel Grace will be performing as a special guest in the later show. 3 OUT AT THE MOVIES: Enniscorth­y Library are thrilled to be hosting another ‘out at the movies’ on Thursday, May 23. On the night there will only be people aged 18 years or older. Booking is labelled as essential for the night as there are a limited number of spaces available. The event is set to start at 6 p.m. on the evening. 4 LATE NIGHT CHILLZ: Leinster Car Scene are delighted to be hosting yet another Late Night Chillz on Saturday, May 25. The event will be taking place beside Tesco Extra i n Gorey. The event i s designed to be for everyone, no matter what make or model their car i s. There i s strictly no bad behavior allowed at the event as i t will ruin the evening on others who are j ust tr ying to enjoy the show. There will be gardaí present to sort out any troublemak­ers, as always. The event will be starting at 7.30 p. m. and i s planned to finish late.

5 AWAKENED LIVING WORKSHOP: The Creacon Wellness Retreat is hosting the Awakened Living Workshop on Sunday, May 26. 6 RNLI 200: The Royal National Lifeboat Institutio­n will be celebrated on Thursday, May 23, at RNLI 200. The event is set to take place in the National Opera House.

This special one night only event is marking the 200th anniversar­y of the setting up of the RNLI. The incredible volunteer organisati­on will be celebrated with songs, dance, spoken word, and video presentati­ons. It’s incredibly important to honour the brave men and women that volunteer to save lives every day, they don’t receive their flowers enough. Among the performers are adored local artists such as George Lawlor, Tony Carty, and Chris Currid, alongside The Craic Pots, the Wexford School of Ballet and Performing Arts and Dara Pierce Ballet Academy. Renowned pipe player Mark Redmond and tenor Glenn Murphy will be showcasing their talents, under the expert baton of composer Liam Bates. There is a total of 15 acts for the whole show. Special guests include The Sea of Change Choir, Ryan Kelly and Chloe Agnew. 7 PSYCHIC NIGHT IN BREEN’S BAR- Gorey is eager to welcome the fantastic Fiona Stewart Williams to Breen’s Bar on Thursday, May 30 at 8 p.m. Fiona is an internatio­nal psychic medium. She recently started up her fascinatin­g, ‘Hello from Heaven’ tour. Fiona aims to give comfort to families who have lost someone special, letting them know that their near and dear draw close and guide us every day, from the spirit world. Fiona amazingly reveals stories of your loved ones in a very passionate, unique and even witty way. The entry requiremen­t is that you must be over 18 years of age to attend.
