Arklow Com­mu­nity Games would love to hear from any­one (aged over 18) will­ing to vol­un­teer with the group in 2019.

Last year, 250 chil­dren rang­ing in age from four to 16 years par­tic­i­pated in six dif­fer­ent types of sport­ing and cultural ac­tiv­i­ties at area, county, pro­vin­cial and na­tional level. They com­peted in art, ath­let­ics, gym­nas­tics, hand writ­ing, swim­ming and talent.

The group’s aim is to en­cour­age and fos­ter com­mu­nity spirit and a love of sport and cul­ture, par­tic­u­larly among the young peo­ple.
