Concert is a bit hit for day care service
BLESSINGTON and Baltinglass Day Care were the big winners after a special benefit variety concert in their honour was held in the Tramway Theatre
The performers taking to the stage were Amy Barnett, Ballymore Eustace Prelude Ensemble, Alexandra Douglas and The Young Willoughby Brothers and Family.
Amy Barnett wowed the large audience with her wonderful singing voice, accompanied by her trusty guitar.
The Young Willoughbys – Adam, Jack and Adam – proved to be seasoned performers well beyond their years. Their parents, Richie and wedding-singer Lorraine, also lent a helping hand.
The dulcet tones of Alexandra Douglas were accompanied by pianist Michele Maria Benvenuto.
The award-winning Ballymore Eustace Prelude Ensemble are regular performers in west Wicklow, whose membership includes talents of all ages.
The Tramway Theatre will also host the Blesisngton Musical and Dramatic society annual panto taking place Jaunary. Dates will be confirmed soon.
