Marathon run­ners raise €10k for hos­pice

WICK­LOW ath­letes of­fered ad­mirable sup­port for Wick­low Hos­pice this year as 34 run­ners com­pleted the Dublin City Marathon in aid of the project. A whop­ping €10,000 was raised. Wick­low Hos­pice Foun­da­tion ex­tends sin­cere thanks to the ath­letes for their won­der­ful ef­forts and the mas­sive train­ing they put in ahead of the event.

The next big hos­pice fundraiser is the pop­u­lar Strictly Come Danc­ing which takes place at the Ark­low Bay Ho­tel on Satur­day, Novem­ber 24, at 8 p.m.
