THE community of Manor Kilbride extended a warm and sincere welcome home to X Factor star and local lad Jack Tisdall following a stellar performance on the hit UK television talent show.
Son of Paul and Charlotte Tisdall, Jack took part in the contest with the boy band United Vibe and made it all the way to the live shows.
The parish hall in Manor Kilbride was packed to capacity at the weekend as Jack returned to his home village to a hero’s welcome.
He was thrilled to see such a great turnout and to have the opportunity to thank his friends and neighbours for all their support.
‘Everybody came out to welcome Jack and he was overwhelmed by it. He was really happy to chat to everyone and to thank them for cheering him on. It was lovely for him to have the chance to catch up,’ his mum Charlotte said.
His new fan base was also in for a treat as Jack took to the stage for an exclusive live performance.
Jack’s visit home was short and sweet however as he is due to soon return to the UK to complete his X Factor obligations.
‘It’s very exciting and there is loads in the pipeline,’ Charlotte said.
