They league lead­ers ran out 6-2 win­ners, with John An­drew Kin­sella lead­ing the way with a hat-trick and Michael Mur­phy (two) and Martin Cullen also get­ting in on the act. Ja­cob Hamil­ton and Ryan Cahill scored for Avon­more.

Ark­low Town are breath­ing down their necks after see­ing off Conary United 4-0 at Bridge­wa­ter Cen­tre Park.

Joe Led­with net­ted a dou­ble for the in-form Ark­low men, while Kyle Dowl­ing and Conor Dodd added a goal apiece.

Carnew fought back from 3-0 down to earn a 5-3 vic­tory over Sham­rock Celtic, with Paddy Adair (two), John Ka­vanagh, Conor Kennedy and Cor­mac Doyle) scor­ing for the win­ners.
