The annual Review is now on sale in outlets throughout the town at a cost of just €7.
The Review is a tribute to the many and varied activities that have taken place in Baltinglass, Bigstone, Grangecon and Stratford, throughout the year. You will see many familiar faces of those who have celebrated, achieved success, grown up, been remembered, organised events, been married, retired, all captured in the colourful, glossy pages of this year’s’ edition. The Pope’s visit, the excitement of the Eurovision, the sporting achievements of Molly Scott, the installation of the Grangecon horse sculpture, a remembrance to Frank Hunt (RIP), the Fitzgerald family representing Wicklow in the Nottingham St Patrick’s Day parade, and lots, lots more, makes this edition a fascinating read. Mention must also be made of the many businesses who supported the Review this year, without whom this publication would not be possible.
The cover photograph supplied by Nigel Gillis with the distinctive silhouette of St Joseph’s Church steeple, means the Review 2018 will look good on any coffee table over the Christmas. Well done, once again, to the Communications group for putting together this archive of events in our parish in 2018. Don’t miss out on purchasing your copy over the coming days and weeks, a great stocking filler for those near and far.
