Busy Fingers Pre-school and Tod­dler Group are now tak­ing en­rol­ments for Septem­ber, ca­ter­ing for chil­dren from two to six years of age. Free places are avail­able un­der the ECCE scheme, and sub­si­dies for fam­i­lies un­der the new Na­tional Child­care Scheme. Last week end our lo­cal chil­dren took part in the Aldi Na­tional Com­mu­nity Games Fes­ti­val in UL Lim­er­ick. Well done to all our com­peti­tors in Lim­er­ick you are a fan­tas­tic group of par­tic­i­pants who made your area very proud. Thank you to Anne Marie Doyle for look­ing after you so well. Our marathon girls Laci Jane Shan­non and Juli­ette Nic Chonaill cane third. Our un­der-12 and un­der-14 ran their hearts out and our mixed un­der-13 cross coun­try came fifth. We had a golden medal win­ner in the un­der-12 hand­writ­ing. Well done Seán Byrne. It was a great week­end for ev­ery­body.

COUNTY ATH­LET­ICS FI­NALS – The County Wick­low Track and Field fi­nals will take place Satur­day, June 15, in Shil­le­lagh. Please gather for the pa­rade from 9 a.m. col­lect­ing sin­glet and la­bel from your coaches. Please wear a white T-shirt with dark shorts. Bring plenty of water, sun cream (we hope) and a pic­nic.


An­nacurra Parish field day draw tick­ets are now on sale for the draw. Please sup­port the raf­fle and the parish that is or­gan­is­ing it. Do­na­tions All do­na­tions for the field day would be most wel­come: bric-à-brac White Ele­phant Cakes Bot­tles Books Plants Help Vol­un­teers to help run the day would be most wel­come. Meet­ing There will be a short meet­ing of all Stall Or­gan­is­ers and Helpers on Wed­nes­day, June 12, at 8 p.m. in the church.
