Seniors: The seniors were away to Rathnew on Friday, May 31 in the league.
Even though both teams were missing several players it was still a good game.
In a low-scoring, windy first half, both sides missed several chances. Half-time Rathnew led 0-5 to 0-4.
In the second half we upped our game but so did Rathnew and they went 1-7 0-5 up with about 10 minutes to go.
We dug deep and managed to get back level at 1-9 each. With time up on the clock a draw looked to be a fair result.
But Rathnew won a crucial turnover and clipped over the winning score with the last play off the match. Full-time: 1-10 to 1-9.

Under-14 girls Féile: Our under-14 girls are heading west for Féile Peil na nÓg from June 28to30.
One of three clubs representing Wicklow, our girls are very excited.
We will be hosted by Naomh Mhuire Oranmore in Galway. Anyone that knows about Féile will be aware there’s a huge cost involved in sending teams and our girls have done up (with a little help!) a wonderful letter seeking the support and sponsorship of local or any businesses willing to contribute.
Instead of targeting one business for a big amount we appeal for just €100 per business to sponsor one of our players.
Being affordable, in supporting our young girls you will get full recognition for the sponsorship with our player profiles including your business name/logo and acknowledgement on all our networks (social media etc).
We are extremely grateful for all sponsorship received so far. If any other businesses are in a position to contribute, please contact any of the management. Jess 086 8602022 and Kim 085 2079643.
We are very much looking forward to the build up to one of the most memorable weekends in the Gaelic football calendar. All the girls and coaches profiles are on our Facebook page along with sponsors.

A last-minute point gave Donard a one-point victory over the lads last weekend on a scoreline 1-8 to 1-7.
There was little or nothing between the two teams throughout. Roan had the ball in the net in the opening minutes, and we went in at the break up 1-3 to 0-3.
Donard had the better of the exchanges in the second. Brendan made a super save from a penalty but Donard rattled the net shortly after to put them two up going into the home stretch.
Credit to the lads the got it back level, but an overlapping Donard defender split the posts and got Donard the win.
The lads take on Barndarrig Sunday morning in the Gap in their second last league fixture of the year. All support appreciated.
Best of luck to Mark and the Wicklow lads against Leitrim.
