Country music night at Glenart
THE ANNUAL country music night returns to the courtyard of Glenart Castle on Saturday, June 22.
Irish country music fans are in for a treat as ‘Queen of Country’ Cliona Hagan and Marty Mone headline this year’s event.
Singer, songwriter and trucker Marty Mone will take to the stage from 8 p.m. with his live show which promises a mixture of his own original songs including Hit the Diff and Better than a Dream, covers and a little bit of madness.
Meanwhile, Cliona Hagan is bringing her latest tour, ‘Dance On’ and her new band to the stage in Arklow.
The Irish country singer wowed the judges and TV audiences alike with her performances during her lengthy stint on the third series of RTE’s Dancing with the Stars. The Queen of Country was one of the finalists for the 2019 run of the popular dance show. She is expected to perform on the night from 10 p.m.
The country music night is all outdoors with gates at the Glenart Courtyard venue open from 7.30 p.m. Hot food will be available on the evening served by the barbece kings.
