Del­e­gates from tourism as­so­ci­a­tion groups at­tend Pow­er­scourt event

THE ad­vi­sory coun­cil of the Euro­pean Tourism As­so­ci­a­tion (ETOA) held its quar­terly meet­ing last week in the Pow­er­scourt Ho­tel in En­niskerry. The ad­vi­sory coun­cil holds these meet­ings in dif­fer­ent lo­ca­tions around Europe and Tourism Ire­land spon­sored the meet­ing in Ire­land. The in­flu­en­tial ETOA is the trade as­so­ci­a­tion for tour op­er­a­tors and sup­pli­ers with busi­ness in Euro­pean des­ti­na­tions.

It has more than 1,000 mem­bers – in­clud­ing tra­di­tional and on­line tour op­er­a­tors, travel in­ter­me­di­aries and whole­salers, Euro­pean tourist boards, ho­tels, vis­i­tor at­trac­tions and other tourism providers. Del­e­gates from as­so­ci­a­tion mem­ber groups and or­gan­i­sa­tions at­tended the meet­ing.
