The annual Gymkhana will be held in Coolgreany on Sunday, July 7, and plans are advancing favourably for that day. This is always a very worthwhile event with some lovely trophies and cups to be won in all of the different horse and pony events, and also some great jumping in all of the children’s jumping classes.
In conjunction with the Gymkhana there will be a Monster Raffle, with tickets on sale at present. The prize money is a first prize of €500, second prize of €200, and three other prizes of €100 each. Tickets are €2 each or a book of three tickets is €5. Draw will take place on the day of Gymkhana. All proceeds will go to St David’s Church Funds. Everyone is welcome.
