Two clubs to meet C.C.C. over in­ci­dent

REP­RE­SEN­TA­TIVES from the Balt­in­glass and Bless­ing­ton GAA clubs will de­scend on Hol­ly­wood GAA Club this evening (Wednesday) to meet with mem­bers of Wick­low GAA’s C.C.C. to try and bring a con­clu­sion to the events that left a Bless­ing­ton GAA player with in­juries to his mouth fol­low­ing a league en­counter be­tween the two sides ear­lier this year.

Gar­dai were called to the Bless­ing­ton GAA Club grounds af­ter a Bless­ing­ton player left the field of play fol­low­ing an in­ci­dent in­volv­ing a Balt­in­glass player.

The C.C.C. have been in­ves­ti­gat­ing the in­ci­dent in re­cent weeks and all par­ties in­volved will be in at­ten­dance this evening in an attempt to bring the sit­u­a­tion to a close.
