Next Satur­day sees our county Wick­low tag rugby cham­pi­ons trav­el­ling to Car­low IT for the Le­in­ster Fi­nals. We would like to wish our un­der-11 and un­der-14 boys and girls all the luck of Wick­low and to do your best and en­joy the ex­pe­ri­ence.


This Satur­day, July 6, our in­ter­me­di­ates play their first game of the cham­pi­onship. It is on in Wick­low at 6.45 p.m. against Kil­macanogue. Best of luck lads and all sup­port would be ap­pre­ci­ated.

We send our deep­est re­grets to the McDon­ald fam­ily on the very sad pass­ing of Sheila. She was a great sup­porter of the club and will be missed by ev­ery­one.

We also send our con­do­lences to the Cleary fam­ily on Joe’s pass­ing. Joe was a top-class hand­baller and he also played for An­nacurra in the 1955 county se­nior fi­nal.


The mem­bers of An­nacurra In­door Bowls club extend their sym­pa­thy to our colleague Kath­leen McAl­lis­ter on the re­cent death of her sis­ter Mary Moules RIP. We also ex­tent our sym­pa­thy to Mary’s hus­band John and fam­ily.

Our Bowls Club is in Sum­mer re­cess at present. Bowl­ing usu­ally recom­mences for the new sea­son in mid-Septem­ber when we hope there will be a num­ber of new mem­bers join­ing.


The Bricx Club Lego AND Krafty Kidz Sum­mer Camp. Due to such an in­ter­est in our July dates, we are de­lighted to an­nounce we will be run­ning a sec­ond sum­mer camp in An­nacurra Com­mu­nity Hall.

Dates: Mon­day, Au­gust 12, to Fri­day, Au­gust 16. Times: 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Cost €55 per child. Age group age three to 12.

We are com­bin­ing our two amaz­ing and fun com­pa­nies The Bricx Club Lego and Krafty Kidz Art and Craft Club.

Ti­na­hely Va­ri­ety Group in­vites you to the launch of our 2019-20 sea­son on Fri­day, July 5, in the Court­house Arts Cen­tre at 8 p.m. Come along and en­joy some re­fresh­ments.
