PINK Salt in Bray has been awarded 5 Star Indian Restaurant of the Year in Leinster in the first ever Irish Asian Food Awards.

Top Asian food establishments received awards in 20 categories, following the Asian Food campaign’s efforts to recognise Asian restaurants, takeaways and food establishments across Ireland. The campaign celebrates those who work their hardest to promote Asian cuisine and connect communities through food and culture.

The Asian Food campaign showcases the success, entrepreneurial spirit and creativity fuelling the Irish Asian Food industry, with categories ranging from Japanese Restaurant of the year, Outstanding Indian Restaurant and Asian Fusion Restaurant of the year.

The awards were organised by Oceanic Consulting – the UK’s leading ethnic awards company. With years of experience, they hold various award ceremonies throughout major cities in Scotland, England and now Ireland annually. Oceanic Consulting events are a major fixture in the calendars of both the Asian community and wider population.

Irfan Younis, CEO of Oceanic Consulting said:

‘Well done to all our winners at the first ever Irish Asian Food Awards; we hope you’re proud to be recognised for the hard graft, talent, joy and entertainment you bring to the industry through delicious food which represents Ireland’s rich culture and heritage. We will be bigger and better next year.’
