Six stages of exciting entertainment at this weekend’s Knockanstockan
SOME of the Irish music scene’s most exciting acts will be taking to the stage over three days as part of Knockanstockan 2019.
The music and art festival takes place on the shores of the Blessington Lakes on July 19, 20 and 21 with Irish festival circuit faves Donal Dineen, Chief Keegan and Le Pizza Galaxie among the performers.
The Knockanstockan festival site spans across privately owned lands and will play host to six different stages
Story-telling and design will be taking place at Woodtown and KnockanSprogs, new stages that have been added to the festival area.
Some of the acts due to perform on the Friday opening include Le Pizza Galaxie, Schindler’s Fist, TPM, Solkatt, Galway Street Club, Calvin James, Bats and Dead Lable.
The various stages and tents will feature live music and DJ performances on the Saturday, including Toucan, Tau, Thumper, Lunch Money Live, Softboy DJs, A Different Animal, Acid Granny, Jimmy Penguin, Guilty Boy Association and Lil’ Brendan.
On the Sunday audience members can look forward to watching The Scratch, Kneecap, DJ Tahira, Stevie G and the Hot Sauce Dance Crew, Trad Rave, Donal Dineen, Stevie Darragh, Dowry, Good Name, SENU and Chief Keegan.

The carpark is located at Lacken village and a shuttle bus service will be running from the car park to the festival field for €2. There is a €10 parking charge and the area will be locked and secured each night.
