Seventy-year-old charged with 14 counts of rape
A 70-year-old was charged with 14 offences of rape before a recent sitting of Bray District Court.
The rapes are alleged to have taken place on separate occasions over a period between April 2002 and April 2005.
A garda told the court that the accused’s reply after caution was “it didn’t happen”.
Bail was granted with the condition that there was to be no contact with the complainant. The case was adjourned for mention and service of the book of evidence.
