Guided tour of Kilmacurragh
EXPERT guides will lead a tour of the meadows and hedgerows of the National Botanic Gardens, Kilmacurragh.
The tour takes place on Saturday, July 27, from 2.30 p.m. to 3.30 p.m. From wild Irish orchids to yellow rattle, discover the many wonderful plants growing in our regenerated meadows.
The meeting point is at the car park for 2.30 p.m..
Seasonal and themed special guided tours also take place during the year. These include guided tours during National Tree Day in October, special Rhododendron Walks in March, and events for Heritage Week.
The guiding team at Kilmacurragh also offer free school tours and to welcome private groups, for which advance booking is essential.
