Guided tour of Kil­macur­ragh

EX­PERT guides will lead a tour of the mead­ows and hedgerows of the Na­tional Botanic Gar­dens, Kil­macur­ragh.

The tour takes place on Satur­day, July 27, from 2.30 p.m. to 3.30 p.m. From wild Ir­ish or­chids to yel­low rat­tle, dis­cover the many won­der­ful plants grow­ing in our re­gen­er­ated mead­ows.

The meet­ing point is at the car park for 2.30 p.m..

Sea­sonal and themed spe­cial guided tours also take place dur­ing the year. These in­clude guided tours dur­ing Na­tional Tree Day in Oc­to­ber, spe­cial Rhodo­den­dron Walks in March, and events for Her­itage Week.

The guid­ing team at Kil­macur­ragh also of­fer free school tours and to wel­come pri­vate groups, for which ad­vance book­ing is es­sen­tial.
