Six teams set for battle
SIX clubs will contest for the Junior ‘A’ and Junior ‘B’ hurling crowns in the coming weeks and months after the draw was made at the County Board meeting in Ballinakill last Monday evening.
The championship will consist of two grops of three teams with the top two teams meeting in the Junior ‘A’ final and the second team of Group 1 facing the third team in Group 2 and the second team in Group 2 meeting the third team in Group 1 in what will be the semi-finals of the Junior ‘B’ hurling championships.
Last year’s beaten finalists Bray Emmets find themselves in Group 1 with the returning Aughrim and the ever-present Glenealy.
