Wick­low suf­fer heavy de­feat to Lim­er­ick in cham­pi­onship

THE Wick­low camo­gie team are find­ing life very dif­fi­cult in the Liberty In­surance Pre­mier Ju­nior Cham­pi­onship with an­other very heavy de­feat suf­fered at the hands of Lim­er­ick last week­end in Dun­bur Park in Wick­low town.

Hav­ing been held score­less last week­end against Water­ford there was some progress for the Gar­den County side when they bagged 1-3 against the vis­it­ing Lim­er­ick side.

Kevin Byrne’s side face Kerry next and with the King­dom de­feat­ing Water­ford who put 3-31 past Wick­low it could be a very long day in the of­fice.

The Wick­low camo­gie team who were beaten by Lim­er­ick in the All-Ire­land Ju­nior Cham­pi­onship.
