Wick­low Regatta is a roar­ing suc­cess yet again

WICK­LOW ROW­ING CLUB turned on the style for their an­nual regatta last week­end with a su­perb row­ing, fan­tas­tic weather and a won­der­ful at­mos­phere over the course of the long week­end.

This was an­other hugely suc­cess­ful Wick­low Regatta and spe­cial thanks must be paid to the 115 crews who com­peted on Mon­day. They cer­tainly did them­selves and their clubs proud with their ef­forts in the wa­ter.

Re­sults for Wick­low: Un­der-12s – Sec­ond Un­der-14 Boys – First Un­der-16 girls – Third Un­der-16 Boys – Third Mi­nor crew – First In­ter­me­di­ate men – First, but un­for­tu­nately dis­qual­i­fied for turn­ing the wrong buoy.

Se­nior ladies – First Ju­nior Men - Third (sec­ond race, well done, lads!) Mixed crew - Sec­ond and third. And well done to the Wick­low Row­ing Club’s two novice ladies crews on their first regatta!

The Wick­low club also hosted an un­der-10s race, with two crews from Wick­low row­ing.

Ready for the off in the un­der-12s girls race in the Wick­low Regatta 2019.
