Next week­end is the sec­ond of the Na­tional Fes­ti­vals in UL Lim­er­ick and we have 12 competitor­s rep­re­sent­ing our area.

Long puck Liam Mol­loy and Ciara O’Byrne; un­der-eight girls 60m Grace Sheehy; un­der-12 girls 100m Cassie O’Byrne; un­der-16 girls 100m Caoimhe Mur­phy; un­der-16 girls 1500m Laci Jane Shan­non; un­der-16 boys 1500m Tom Parker and also tak­ing part with them in the un­der-16 re­lays girls and mixed Róisín Byrne, Juli­ette Nic Chonaill, Han­nah Doyle, Shauna O’Shea, Caolin Goete­lan.

The best of luck to you all we are very proud of you all. Do your best and en­joy the ex­pe­ri­ence. A big thank you to the man­agers trav­el­ling with them Ma­jella O’Shea and Pamela Mur­phy and our ded­i­cated coaches over the last few weeks who gave up their time to coach the chil­dren. Re­sults for Au­gust 5. Num­bers 5-10-11-21. No jack­pot win­ner. Next week €3,150. Match-three win­ners were the Alexan­ders girls, Aughrim and Ricky McDon­ald, Kilpipe. Draw is held in Sal­tee on Mon­day night.

TI­NA­HELY LADIES’ GAA SU­PER DRAW

As part of a mas­sive fundraisin­g ini­tia­tive Ti­na­hely Ladies’ GAA Club are hold­ing a Su­per Draw with the top prize of a brand new Hyundai i10 car. Tick­ets cost €100 and are limited to 400 in to­tal. There is also €2,000 worth of other prizes to win. Tick­ets are on sale now from mem­bers of the Ladies Com­mit­tee and club play­ers. The draw for the prizes will take place in Mur­phy’s Ho­tel, Ti­na­hely on Oc­to­ber 26.
